Synthetic labels - Polyester, PP, PE etc.
Thermal transfer and Ink-jet synthetic labels - Polypropylene, Polyester and specially coated label materials for Colour Inkjet Label printers (Epson, TSC etc.)
We recommend that resin thermal transfer ribbons are used to maximise image durability against abrasion, chemical and water resistance on thermal transfer printable synthetic materials. Please note certain specifically coated, chemical resistant polyesters are available and these must be used with ribbons designed for these materials.
Labels for colour inkjet label printers are especially coated to receive both pigmented and aqueous inks and are not designed for thermal transfer printing.
